Do Turks appreciate European classical music?

Why do they have to appreciate European classical music, even I don't.. :-S Turkish music is beautiful, they don't need our music.

because i know turkish people who likes classical music. and i know Roswitha started a topic asking a question. and posting, basically she and me were to post in this topic. but i do not know what are you referring to.

Actually I don't understand YOUR post portokal!!! The thread asks a question, and Catwoman was giving her opinion.

basically, yes it was me and her. and since i know a few turkish who like classical music (wanna details? ), catwoman's opinion might have looked strange.

Just wanted to thank Portokal and Roswitha for the fabulous links here. There are hardly any stations that play classical music now.

There is one station here that plays very interesting and innovative classical music, but it's only on Saturday night...after the Turkish Cultural Program KUSF 90.3FM
