I honestly doubt Mr Muhtar would put an end to Coca-Cola.
From what i have seen at an area manager of the company, by the time one manages to be promoted as CEO there, one cannot even breath or sleep without, because Always Coca Cola.)))

If you drop old coins into a glass of Coca Cola and leave them for a while it cleans them up beautifully!! I wonder what it does to your teeth and your stomach lining.

Apparantly, if you put a tooth into a glass of the ordinary coca-cola for 24 hours, it will have totally dissolved !

In some parts of the world, Coca Cola is the only potable liquid available, as I discoverd in the Sahara Desert some years ago. Amazing!

The only way I would drink Coca Cola is if it is mixed with Vodka, in equal parts...one bottle of Vodka to one bottle of Coke. Vodka softens it down......
You can clean shiny nickel metal parts of your car with Coca Cola.

Vodka can be mixed Coke, also with tomato juice ( add few drops of Tabasco too, if you are using tomato juice)...lime would be a nice add-on to both.
For some very good reason, some old TURKS invariably sprinkle Black pepper (powdered) on VODKA....Does anyone know why?

There is a TV show in the US called "Myth Busters" and they have debunked several of these legends about Coke. It did not disolve teeth.
It did slightly disolve rust but not with any real significance.

Lady, any carbonated beverage will remove a certain amount of rust, not just Coke. It is due to the chemical reaction between metals and calcium carbonate. However, recent studies have actually shown that the carbonation will also cause bone loss...so it is not a good thing to give it to your kids, and definately not good for women over 35.

looks like mr. muhtar can keep busy with flourishing the coke business without any remorse at all.)))
besides coin collectors, there are also people who drink sweet or half-dry red wine with cola, usually in a half-half combination. please don't ask why, beats me.
as for spices, they make vodka more flavoured and effective. like a shot.)))
the same is with bloody mary, you put pepper on top...
which reminds me that bloody mary is nice when the tomato juice is poured with the help of a knife blade so the juice will go down to the bottom of the glass, thus 'pushing' the vodka up.

This is a date for my diary...because I completely agree with AlphaF. This is a disgusting company who market a disgusting product and should be closed down as soon as possible. They invest far too much money in dubious, biased research, and even more in supporting their favourite politicians.
The reason there are no FDA issues in the USA with this product? Because Coca Cola funded the research and pay the scientists and dentists millions to get favourable results.

Well you are wrong! Coke has been linked to cancer and leukemia and contains some very nasty chemicals. They also sponsor dental research in order to "control" the findings.
For a nice list of health problems associated with coke, look at this. Then click to cokescrimes and find out all the other reasons they are a vile company!

You are missing my point, but nevermind I suppose you are happy enough having your politics decided by a soft drinks company and your health research paid for and "modified" to ensure that sales of this product do not decrease.
Cheers everyone - rum and coke all round then

Oh... am I again missing the point? I agree that those huge companies should be curtailed and I'm sure it's harmful what they produce, but I don't have enough energy to be against everything... Every huge company is doing dirty business.
