Quoting Delidolu: Well his first reason was religion (though I had told him I don't mind converting into a muslim and after learning everything there is to learn abt his religion)
Second was the sex thing ("You like sex too much and I can't be with u all the time, because of distance")
Third was the "different dreams" (he is a pilot I want to be an author)
Decent enough I guess!!! |
Absolutely. He sounds like a genuinely decent person - though i do think he has missed out on a great relationship with you. At least you have kept your sense of dignity and not chased him like some crazy women on this site. I am not surprised us Western women get a bad name. Some just wont take no for an answer or refuse to read the flashing warning signs. It is because of them that Dudu's exist at all. Some women are old enough to be their dudu's grandmother. What in the hell do they think a boy who is barely out of nappies would want from them? Electrical goods and a bit of money and then its "Adios askimcanimbenimsevgilim". And then the next desperado turns up on a 2 week package holiday and the Dudus are on a roll again for another few months. Good little business men, no?

I love your posts Shama! You always seem to say what I am thinking
The other thing that really bugs me is the "fairwell messages" sent by these women (that rarely are the last) which go along the lines of "I will always love you, my life is nothing without you, but I just can't do this anymore....".
I suppose that they are sent in the hope that he will suddenly change his mind just because she "will always love him".
What they actually do his push him away even further and leave you with zero pride left!

Thank you AIII -- And i agree 100% with you. My personal mantra is "Why would/should I give my love to you if you dont/won't give me any love back?! It's like rowing a boat with someone. You think you are both putting in an equal amount of effort into rowing the boat to paradise only to turn around to see Mr Dudu sitting behind you with his feet up, having a fag while you are sweating your guts out to keep the boat going. So my advice to anyone is if you find that you are the only one rowing the boat - find the strength to throw the bugger off in the deep end -- without a life jacket. A relationship is only a relationship when there are 2 committed people in it striving for the same thing. Anything less is just a farce. For me, there is no such thing as love-at-first-sight. A person's CHARACTER is what is important and that will determine your future. Going only for someone's PERSONALITY is not enough. Afterall, anyone can put on a show for a while but its hard to hide your true character for very long. Ok, that's enough preaching from me for the time being xx

he IS a genuinly decent person yes....decent enough to block and delete me from his msn and NOT reply to my "happy birthday" sms but anw...As for the Western women well,it's norml I think for them to fall in love..I mean what else is there to enjoy after having a family and a broken marriage and an ex-husband who is a jerk?Let them live,it's not a big deal as long as tey are happy I think it's worth it.

Ahh now that's a revelation - he blocked you??! You were probably harassing the life out of the poor man!! But you had fun, yes?! Anyway, on reflection, you are right. I guess i have been in the legal profession for far too long - fair treatment and justice is instilled in my bones. Maybe I need to chill out..

Well some might consider it harassment if for every 4 texts being sent out only 1 was being responded to... Sounds as if he was a Turkish Tom Cruise. If so, I wouldn't be sorry for getting arrested under the Anti- Harrassment law. It would have been a pleasure...x
