Aengima - it says nothing about being grammatically correct in the forum rules! It only says about writing ALL in capitals!

Yes, he is. He's the prophet we've all been waiting for to save us from the oppressors. He is muscular, has a big forehead, and his name is Kadder, which in Eskimo means "the son of Kad". So far he revealed what the punishment is for being unruly in the forums... there's more to come tho...

Yes, it is strange canim. The speed of falling is much higher then the speed of flying a helicopter among those cliffs could possibly be.

I don't remember ever being really frightened by a movie, but after reading Salem's Lot by Steven King (I was about 13 or 14 when I read it) I couldn't go by a window at night for about a month....scared the crap out of me!!

Isn't it funny how his books are absolutely terrifying but when they are put on a screen, they just don't translate. On the other hand, if you have noticed, the screenplays (the ones that where not novels first) that he writes are brilliant....Shawshank Redemption, Dolores Clayborne.

I completely agree! I think that much of what makes Stephen King's books scary is the thoughts of the characters and no matter how good the actor tries to convey them, it will never be enough!

Yes that much I get, but the time they took to actually wait before that guy went and tried to save her, the heli could have been high above her with a rope down. Anyway, İ better not talk about things that have maths and physics involved

+1 - but I think 'Misery' was possibly an exception. Maybe because there were only two important characters. The more complex the book the worse it turns out on screen. |
