Well it is certainly not a surprise to see J.P. Morgan hedging their bets. They are charitably "helping" the new Bank of Iraq - with the potential to make billions when oil production resumes to full capacity.

They will not want to lose their honoured position of officially making money from "war".

More great details about buying your president here:-

BTW - is this now US Class?

This is what both "wars" were REALLY all about

"Three U.S. companies—banking and brokerage powerhouse J.P. Morgan Chase, oil giant Chevron/Texaco and global telecommunications provider MCI—have won contracts from the Coalition Provisional Authority in Iraq, the Iraq State Oil Marketing Organization, and the Afghanistan provisional government."

Wait for Teaschip to tell us it is for Afhan and Iraqi "long term benefit" lol lol lol

God Bless America!

Aenigma, what are the benefits the UK got out of the war? Surely they didn't go to bring democracy to Iraq either...

Please let me know when you find any benefits - other than maintaining our "position" as Bush's lap dog

So you didn't win any nice oil contracts? Ohh.... then I must say I'd feel cheated if I was a Brit!
