I would love to see Le Traviata again (my favourite), but dont think I will make it to Ankara

I adore opera! People seem to either love it or hate it, and I notice that most people who "hate it" invariably have never been to one!

Delightful are the Italian operas, don't care for the heavy Wagnerian ones

The theatrical effects are nice, the sets are great, the costumes are fabulous...it's just the sopranos I can't stand.... To me it's like nails on a blackboard.... aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ....I tried, I really did.
