I think the funniest word I ever saw on here was menapausic! (of course it should have been menapausal)

'Comprador' is a word that has cropped up in the forums a couple of times lately - I had never heard this - presumably English - word in my life so I looked it up:

comprador: member of the Chinese merchant class who aided Western traders in China in the late 18th, 19th, and early 20th centuries.

Wow! You can just learn SO MUCH in TC - I will be making every effort to drop that word into my everyday conversation from now on

We are sending our messages and posts for translations from Turkish to English and from English to Turkish.
We ask translations...
Why do people effort to help us?
As you know well, no body here has the obligation to help us for translation or anything.
We must watch and control our language...
We have to keep our politeness...
And we must deserve the translation help from the people that give translation help do it freely in their spare time...
Translation is a big effort.
Nobody is forced to translate our messages or posts.
Do you want to translate their messages and posts immediately?
Every effort is mutually.
Friendship is not free.
It requires labor.

I agree, yılgün. But don't worry ... My mum always used to say "I want I want never gets". If someone is rude and demanding, they ain't gonna find I am inclined to help them

I use to say to my children "" what you want and what you get are two different things"" They quote me many times on this and then laugh.
