Very Happy  I thought I got all my money from my previous job but they sent me one more pay slip this morning through the post! Drinks are on me! 
So lucky of you! I get nothing but bills in the mail..

So do I normally, or the constant junk mail so you can imagine my reaction when I got another payment! Especially nearly all the shops are in sale ..... Though, admittedly I promised myself I would save it for maybe another holiday

Don´t they have regulations where you live, regarding final payment? In the US a final check must be presented to the employee, in full, on the last day of work. If not, then there are fines due as well.

No I have to admit I haven´t heard of that way but I suppose as the law system is different to the UK I would assume many other things would be too. I was getting paid 2 weeks behind (as I was on a temporary contract). What did kind of alarm me though was that they sent my P45 and last pay slip in an envelope without even marking it "confidential" and you could clearly see what was in there
Ah well, I´m just happy I got it along with the extra money
