The right club for you is great - the wrong one can be anything from slightly boring if you are with the right people, through to downright horrible if you are not!!!

Personally I have difficulty living more than a couple of weeks without a good session of clubbing - my personal taste is goth/rock clubs.

I have never been clubbing either, to be honest I prefer just going to a restaurant or a chilled-out place. In the town I live the clubs have quite a lot of trouble. Some girls become so drunk and loud, using terrible language and acting bad. I wish there could be clubs here where you could just go to dance, be free and relax, without having to be wary all the time.
But similar to what bod said, it does depend on personal taste.

May be it is more of an 'age-related' issue rather than pure choice ...there are some young people on this site..

I guess......

I've always sort of assumed that most people are somewhere between 20 and 50 on this site - with only a few outside that range.

You know, I like it very much when I see people over 50s on the internet. Thinking that my father doesn't even know how to start the pc, my mother just knows turning it off.
Technology is for everyone, and 60s are not old ages anymore.

I first went 'clubbing' when i was 14 lol sounds bad i know but i was with my sister and she was 18,thats the only way that my mum allowed it when i was that age.As i got older i went out with my friends illegally (for the last 3 years or so) until i turned 18,however some of my friends arent quite legal yet but we still go out,we never get asked for id though so its cool.

My mother is in her 80's

She doesn't use the internet but she mostly communicates with me by text message

There is nothing wrong with keeping to traditions - but bear in mind that traditions only exist because people's views and actions changed from the tradition that was there previously!!!
