Merhaba Everyone,

The American morning T.V. show "The Today Show" is in Istanbul, Live.

It looks like a "çok güzel" day in Istanbul. It makes me miss Turkey!!!

I am so glad that they are featuring this beautiful city, and country. I hope that more people become aware of what all Turkey has to offer and how rich in history and cultural it is. I hope that it makes people want to find out more. Knowledge is power and deters ignorance and bigotry.

I bet the only thing they showed was women with full veil and the slums. Typical western journalist approach.

I'm sure you won't believe it but most programmes about Istanbul (and Turkey in general) shown in the UK give a pretty positive image.

You are very welcome

It is neat to see places you have been and have stood right where they were filming.
