The last 20 minutes were some of the funniest I've ever see, complete with Volkan's crazy stun.
Hats off to Turkey for showing so much courage and turning the tables on the Czechs.

Again, I am waiting for my medal from the Turkish Government as I did not watch the match and therefore avoided bringing my legendary bad luck to Turkey

I watched the Police, Feeder and the Kooks instead - watch out for news of Sting's sudden demise any day!

Yes, it definitely would. And I do think that it's great that Turkey won and proved to be a good team. What I'm saying though is that I don't like it how nationalisticly people take it (in most countries), how seriously people think of these games, how it contributes to their national pride, how they see the competitors as enemies... etc. It's just a stupid game and people beat each other at the end of it. It's insanity.

That game was worth it's weight in Turkish flags but the George Micheal look-a-like goalie wants flogging (or politely putting, "wants his arse kicking" - how stupid!

lol why am i not surprised?

Btw, i think Turkia did not deserve to qualify with that football. We came here mostly by luck, shortly "Ballı Fatih Terim".

But again good LUCK on quarter finals. Lets see if grashopper jumps for the third time.
