I just realised that, whilst we have lots of threads recommending places to visit in Turkey, we do not have a thread where people can recommend Dudus.

If you know of any good ones please write your recommendation here complete with details of their particular skills (together with the ubiquitous bar they work in)

PS It might also be a good idea to state how many women he can take on a one time.

Although I can not recommend a particular dudu, from reading the translation posts here, Marmaris seems to be the dudu hotspot this season. I think Bodrum is last years fashion and clearly Antalya is an up and coming spot.

Now, I think you have to consider what kind of Dudu you are in the market for....do you want a seasonal dudu? A university dudu? or perhaps are you a bit older and want a just out of the cradle dudu? Maybe there are different hotspots for different kinds of dudus....please, can someone confirm?

I can only say this is the Dudumania season, and you can find all kind of Dudus in Dudulandia...way too many to choose from

hey! but dont forget "they" are only seasonal and you must be able to "share" the dudu of your preference.

This smells like weather and geographical determinism, which I don't have any sympathy for. I am tightly holding onto the idea that people are capable of choosing how they want to behave, despite the weather. Therefore, it is fair to blame those people.

We have many 'just out of the cradle' dudus here for those who are interested but also a selection of 'slightly past their sell-by date' ones for those who are not so fussy. They seem to be specially active during this last couple of weeks as the tourist season is poor at the moment and they are having to fight for attention - I have even witnessed one or two PAYING FOR THEIR OWN DRINKS - normally unheard of dudu behaviour. So my advice again is - come early and you will have plenty of choice. My personal recommendation for most dudu'ish dudus would be anyone who works on the boat trips (personal observation NOT personal experience lol)

Ok, but just admit that Mediterranean people are somewhat hotter. Maybe it's a bit more difficult to choose in hot weather. The blood does not circle very well in the brain :=)

I don't know if you have thought about it, but it also does not exactly paint a nice picture of foriegn women who visit Turkey. It makes those women look like a bunch of "love starved, desparate women".

It makes it easier for those who may be inclined to take advantage of women to do so. It certainly does not foster respect.

I am not sure what it is you are talking about here. Is it wrong to poke fun at men who take advantage of women? Who sleep with multiple women every day and lie to each one of them about love/money/sex.... etc etc.
The 'bimbo' thing is far more offensive because it is making fun of an oppressed group (especially when we are talking about a sexually oppressed and disrespected/degraded by men group).

So what do you think these poor men are? They are also desperate. You are making fun of another group who are probably very poor and uneducated. Many of them are from villages where sex is not that avilable either. They are like children in a candy shop and they are using what they have.

And to read some of the comments here, the women are taking advantage of the men too. They just want more bang for the buck. They don't feel they got their money's worth.

The comments do not reflect well on foreign women who visit, thus it perpetuates the whole thing.

As for Bimbos, they have been taking advantage of wealthier men for a very long time....wow...liberation...now a bunch of male bimbos.

Nothing speculative, generalizing or explicitly negative has been said about these guys though. All that's been said was that they lie, ask for money, sleep around... which are facts. It is especially bad because it's yet another instance where men cheat women and use them for sex.

Nobody said anything generalizing in terms of who these guys are. Some are poor, some are uneducated, some are plain assholes. In any case, they are conscious about what they do. I never said that there's something wrong with men having sex with consenting women, the problem here is that these men explicitly and pre-meditatively lie. Poverty or any other relative morality don't justify or excuse this kind of behavior. The least they deserve is to be made fun of.

When it comes to women using men, cheating on them, stealing their money, manipulating their honest, good feelings - I have as little respect for such women as I do for this kind of men.

That is also generalization
We cant talk about all men who work in resorts and condemn them of that too
As you see we know those stories from women at TLC and the experiences they have or had
And i dont think they represent high percentege from the number of the men working at resorts so we can take it as a general rule
So actually its not fair also to judge all the category of men working at the resorts from few people's personal experiences !
İf you meant that the bf of member x is fooling her,and y bf is cheater ...ect

True, you make a good point But, I think it is clear that we only talk about 'dudus' - resort workers who are sleeping around and using women by emotional manipulation and lies. It's absolutely true that not all of them are like that.
How do you recommend that we should talk about this specific kind of men?

Why should Turks be offended by people laughing at con artists? I believe they get ashamed by the fact that there are Turks abusing women. There's nothing wrong about joking at those guys. I agree with Daydreamer. If I were a Turk, I would be ashamed of some of my people who behave this way. Nothing wrong with joking about it really.

But I might add that I don't really agree with you Catwoman, about the abuse of women. You may be right, and ofcourse it is not normal to ask for such high amounts of money etc etc we know the story. But I bet that quite a lot of these women let them take advantage of them.. There's always exceptions and everything, but you must be really stupid to send money, laptops, phones, pay hospital bills, of a guy who doesnt even speak your language, and has decided in 2 weeks that he loves you. The acts of the dudus are no doubt shameful, but most of the women have got to blame themselves too.

It's funny you know because I now always refer to the bar and boat boys here as dudus and no-one has the slightest idea what I'm talking about lol.

And I have to just add that it's all true about the way 90% of them behave but it is very much supply and demand. with the older women who seem happy to part with the cash in exchange for the 'attention' from a handsome young man. It's the younger, naive and, in the end often pregnant, girls I feel sorry for.

How could I say no to that? Now Daydreamer is trying to steal him away. But I guess its all my fault. I couldn't afford a laptop because I am not working right now (my stupid boss fired me for texting handsom back while working)! I don't need you critisizing me catwoman!!

My personal recommendation for most dudu'ish dudus would be anyone who works on the boat trips (personal observation NOT personal experience lol)

lol lol lol lol lol lol lol

I came to turkey in oct and could only attract a pass the sell by date dudu
do you have a scheme for trading in an old dudu for a new and exciting one
I'm bored with mine, even if he does buy his own drinks
lol all applicants will be screened by admin, so don't pm me, pm admin
who will forward successful applicants
must be young, handsome, in debt, need designer clothes, requires a life saving operation and have no credit on phone to remind me how much he loves me
good luck

Forgot to add he must have a high libido and speak very little English, I don't want to have to spend to much time chatting with my dudu
(now you can have a go at me for making fun of the women too)
no pm please, I have an ignore button and I'm not afraid to use it lol

There's always exceptions and everything, but you must be really stupid to send money, laptops, phones, pay hospital bills, of a guy who doesnt even speak your language, and has decided in 2 weeks that he loves you. The acts of the dudus are no doubt shameful, but most of the women have got to blame themselves too.

Yes, handsom is more like cottage cheese than milk now! (I hope you enjoy your iphone, handsom, please don't forget to text me later....)

Well, Elisabeth..
Of course I love you..I will always have. But as you know, there is a global economic crisis.
I have to move on.
But, in my heart, I dont want to.
And I dont understand your love either. I am not sure if you love me.
Can you not get any credit from any bank for the laptop?
What about your neighbours and relatives?
It is just a laptop you know. do you think, your love is not as important as a small laptop?
and do you know how hard life is without a laptop in Turkey?
I dont want to go to any other woman because of my love for you but if you dont send me a laptop until end of this weekend, I have to move on..
Please give me a definite and a clear answer!

OMG, I am so sorry for you thehandsom.. You must be in a very difficult situation and heartbroken. You are forced to betray your heart because you were unfortunate enough to be born poor... I sincerely hope that Elisabeth will find the money to buy you a laptop so that you can live happily ever after!

I'm not sure I understand. But if you are saying that you will leave me for another woman because I can't send you a laptop then I completely forgive you. Nobody else will understand how different you are from the other dudus but I do...and this other woman....this Daydreamer person...let her give you the laptop...but just please don't stop texting me. I can come to Turkey in 6 months....surely you can text me everyday for six months! Even though I know you are spending your nights with another woman, I can look past it....if you just text me.

Ohhh handsom!! this only proves she never loved you, the only way she could have proven it to you was by sending you that laptop you desperately need :-S

I will keep texting you darling but as you know, i could not text you for last couple of weeks because I did not have enough money to buy 'kontur'.
You can not imagine how difficult the life is in Turkey right now..
But although you keep saying you love me and you will do anything for me, but how come you dont find any money? did you ask your uncle and your granny? you were saying they love you very much.
And thank you very much for your understanding about the other woman. as I said to you before, I am spending my nights with her but I am not enjoying it..it is a more like compulsary thing like the army duty..That is how I look at it.

Don't listen to her handsom...Geniuda is always after my dudus!

I completely understand about the other woman, my darling. It must be horrible for you every night.

I am so sorry but my granny died and my uncle has disowned me....so I will not be able to ask them for money. Maybe I can get a loan from the bank even thought I have no credit or cosigner. Perhaps if I tell them your sad story....they will just give it to me. I look very honest.

you know, we believe the present you buy for your lover is the sign of how much you love him.
So dont tell me that you dont love me as much as a 19 inch screen!!
And I am sure you dont want me to be the laughing stock between my friends as they all have 19 inches screens!!

Elisabeth, I'd never do it! Even though his story touched me to the bottom of my sensitive soul, I have no means to do that. Not being a citizen of the two most wanted countries, I can certainly not afford a laptop. That explains though why his request was only my msn address, not a laptop. Am I to be for computer sex only?! I have seen what he's done to FF, then he played you...I don't want to be next I'm so fragile that it would shatter me to pieces...and...let's be serious - one DD is enough! Besides, I have this deal with DK and the Netherlands always win
