What is the point here? Do you want people to say…YAY FOR KEITH, he supports equal rights? Or to call certain members to be banished? Or is it yet another diatribe from the same old crew.
Really….what is your point?

How liberal was the idea that it is natural for women to stay at home as they are the ones giving birth?

Still, I´m tempted to agree with you that you can´t call yourself liberal if you don´t accept other people´s choices in all aspects of life - be it careers, clothes, music or what they watch. (As long as it´s legal of course)

agree.in liberal thinking we should respect other persons choices and dont call them wrong.of course it is dissapointing that in working places women get smaller salaries even they usually are working more hard than men.

And I have been criticised for my views as close-minded and hypocritical. All of you who think you are free thinkers are only tolerent of people who think like you. How exactly is that liberal???

Maybe you don´t see that some of your comments are a little sexist?

EVERYONE thinks they are free thinkers - have you ever met someone who says "I am very close minded"

Unfortunately we are unable to see ourselves as others do.

If freedom of choice is sexist than, yes, I am sexist.

Sorry Keith, but on the one hand you say we should have choice and on the other you say you support traditional family "values". Frankly, listening to a man who says that he supports the traditional family, with mother at home, cooking and looking after the children, is stomach churning.

Yes, I support the nuclear family. Ultimtaely, that is what is going to work for me. This is my CHOICE.
But never did I say this is how everyone should live. As I have said for the millionth time, I support any womans´s right to live and raise her family in the way she sees fit.
If you don´t want to be a stay at home mom (or a mom at all), thats your business. But there is no need to ridicule women who also prefer this lifestyle.

If you are talking about Alameda, I would never ridicule her choice, if that is what it was. However, she does not support "CHOICE" and only sees one way - the traditional, role playing one. In addition, she does it in a patronising and arrogant way.
