I said what needed to be said, and it was clear. I don´t like repeating myself.
Just try to think about it with a common sense, so that you will not post countless, useless posts about it.

You don´t have to come accross as a tyrant mltm. It´s ironic since I too see countless/useless posts here on a daily basis..but I don´t think it´s fair for you to decide what is countless or useless.

The conversation had to do with handsom and it is in the OFF TOPIC. So if anyone would be offended it would be handsome and since he has been forthcoming to all of us here about his hairyness, it should not be an issue.

But there is no need to ridicule women who also prefer this lifestyle.

If you are talking about Alameda, I would never ridicule her choice, if that is what it was. However, she does not support "CHOICE" and only sees one way - the traditional, role playing one. In addition, she does it in a patronising and arrogant way.

I think you need to reread my posts. I never in anyway have said I do not support choice, and I will not sit by and let you say I did.

You may prefer hairy men, but we don´t. Why is that immature.

Let´s try to find it out yourself?
why could it be?

Just as a moderator, I am saying that these kind of jokes are offensive and low-level for this kind of forum.

It´s not the first time, this joke has been going around for a time: creating a man slavery, man farm, or making fun of hairy men etc. It is just not proper.

Perhaps you can give us a list, you know, "as a moderator", of topics that you find tasteful and high-brow enough for your proper taste.
Please, any hairy men, if we have offended you....forgive us. Handsom?????

İ agree with mltm on that, actually gg there is no need to such list, just think how do you like men to adress women, talk about women, and how would you find it offencive,or let´s say not nice when they adress women at another ways,or else when men talk about women as sex objects for example and say they are just having fun we shouldnt be offended ?!
İts same also with men .

Of COURSE there is no need for a list! I was being sarcastic!
As for men discussing women...fine, go for it. I don´t get offended easily and I think it´s absurd that anyone would take this discussion seriously.

Your posts on this subject always make me sad Libralady - because everything you enjoy now, your career, even the right to walk into a pub and not be condemned for it, is because of women who would not just accept the "status quo" and fought for equal rights, despite being ridiculed and insulted. You really surprise me

Forget the word "feminism" and just think "choice". I couldn´t care less if women want to take on traditional roles as housewives and mothers - it is their choice. What I really detest is when women defend that decision by condeming those who DON´T do the same as them and intimate that their children will suffer as a result and that their marriages are less happy, they are going against biology by having careers or by swapping roles of primary carer with their partner. These smug women fail to appreciate that the many freedoms they enjoy, even as housewives and mothers, are SOLELY DUE to the women they despise.

I don´t remember ever seeing anyone here condemning or saying they despise women who choose to have a career out of the home.

However I do see too many women who do choose to have a more "traditional" role are marginalized and made to feel somehow inadequate because of their choices.

In today´s world we have more choices than anytime in the recent past. Women can spend a great deal of time at home and still have a career via telecommuting.

What I have done is question choices, that is not tantamount to condemnation.

Are you as well aware that your comments about having a man farm, no hairy men etc., are offensive, and degrading? Think about men saying these kinds of crap things for women, how degrading.
You are probably having fun, but this kind of fun is not for mature women, I guess.

+ 1001 and it´s good to remember "what goes around comes around."

Exactly!

Cost of Daycare

And this only takes in a fraction of the total cost.

Then there is....

Cost of being a stay at home mom

You´re right we should all be very serious and not have fun. Thanks for the reprimand...oh high and mighty mltm!

Bravo, congratulations, I should clap you for your excellent comprehension.

mltm, we used to have fun on this forum. But I guess it is more appropriate for people to cut eachother down and call eachother names. What I said was meant as a joke, sorry if you didn´t get it or if you don´t think its funny but that ALSO is a matter of opinion (which I believe I can still have on this forum, NO?)
