Quoting MarioninTurkey:

Well... it is unusual to want a translation of a whole article, unless (a) it is for a job (in which case you should pay for it) or (b) it is for homework (in which case you should do it yourself.

My comments were inspired by the fact that there is not just one incredibly long article here, but another member jumped on the bandwagon and posted their long one too.

I support you here till the end Marion, and your comment was right but NOT cynical!

We shouldnt forget that this translation business is a market and people earning their living there... so it is not true to mention that people can make for free... come on! this is the way too extreme to be like a favour!

i just recommend to walk on the floor...

Yes, I also find it a little bit impolite to ask for such a long translation. WaterGuy did offer to pay in another thread.

I support Marionin too because such long and work related translation [especially such involved and lengthy ones] do not subcribe to the spirit of the Forum.

Marionins remarks are more jocular than either cynical or improper. Sarcastic may be -- but sarcasm is highest form of wit.
