can someone explain to me the word güzel a little better. I only see that it means:beautiful, pretty, and nice. So were is it fitting into this sentence: "everything will be ok.
herşey güzel olacak." I´m confused.

That´s poor Turkish usage. That´s a problem when you think there is no other word for fine other than "güzel".

How ´bout?

Herşey hoş/yolunda/tıkırında olacak.

How do you know what I am thinking for meaning of fine? I am translating a sentence and I should pick most used and suited words for it. in this sentence "güzel" most used one. if you translate, you can pick what you want. if you pick "hoş" or "tıkırında" some situations could not be suit. for example in a very sad situation you cannot say: "herşey hoş/tıkırında olacak." also you cannot say: "Herşey yolunda olacak" instead of "Herşey yoluna girecek" that means "everything so bad now but will be ok" but we dont want to say "everything so bad now", we just want to say "everything will be ok"

By the way look the title of thread, it is use of "güzel". not use of fine.

İf we start to replace words with similar meaning words, we can reach the situation like:

Herşey, mükemmel/bomba gibi/süper/harika/harikulade/enfes/iyi/çok iyi/rahat/keyifli/nefis/ala/evla/hallice/kaliteli/mümtaz/mutena/yerinde/muteber/makbul/has/dört başı mahmur/olumlu/(you can add some slang)....... olacak.

P.S Thank you for the informative reply Nisreen
