Maybe some students dont know the meaning of the words in below. Therefore it can be difficult for complete beginners doing the homeworks of Noun State.

Verbs:

"gidiyor" = "S/he/it is going"

"gidiyorum"  = "I am going"

"gidiyorsun" = "you are going"

"gidiyoruz" = "we are going"

"geliyor" = "S/he/it is coming"

"geliyorum" = "I am coming"

"geliyorsun" = "you are coming"

"geliyorlar" = "They are coming"

"yaşıyorum" = "I am living (residing)"

"yaşıyoruz" = "We are living (residing)"

"oynuyor" = "S/he/it is playing"

"duruyor" = "S/he/it is staying"

"yüzüyor" = "S/he/it is swimming"

pronouns:

"Ben" = "I"

"Sen" = "You" (singular)

"O" = "S/he/it"

"Biz" = "We"

"Siz" = "You" (plural)

"Onlar" = "They"

Place names:

Ankara, okul (school), İzmir, park (park), ingiltere (England), Bodrum, Londra (London), Paris, istanbul, Sinema (movie theater), masa (desk), iş(work, job), ev (home, house),  deniz (sea), Antalya

for example:

"Ben Ankara´ya gidiyorum."

"I am going to Ankara"

nerede,nereden,nereye:

"nerede" => "at/in where?"

"nereden" => "from where?"

"nereye" => "to where?"

for example:

"Arabam nerede" = "Where is my car?"

"Nereden geliyorsun" = "Where are you coming from?"

"Nereye gidiyorsun" = "Where are you going (to)?"

Could you please tell me on what occasion would you use te or ta as opposed to de or da ... i refer to one of our lessons as below :

Locative case: -de, -da, -te, -ta (in Ankara, Ankara´da)

I think this is because of the consonant harmony, as it is explained in our lesson:

CASE B - Suffix mutation.

Two conditions must be satisfied for suffix mutation to occur:

1. You have a word ending with one of ´p, ç, t, k, f, h, s, ş´.
2. You want to add this word a suffix that starts with ´c´ or ´d´.

In this case, the first letter of the consonant changes.

• c becomes ç
• d becomes t

 Examples to this would be:

Leh --> Polish (people)

Leh-ce --> Lehçe --> Polish (language)

Türk --> Turkish (people)

Türk-ce --> Türkçe --> Turkish (lanuage)

yap --> do

yap-di --> yaptı --> he did
