I´m not sure about grammatical structure in my opinion the first line:

"the reason of being apart from you is that I´ll engage, really I didn´t want to upset you.

 Yes.  He/She has got engaged to someone else and so is breaking off their relationship with you.  Sorry to be the bearer of bad news!

Is it possible to explain the grammar Marion if you have time please? I found it confusing that he seems to be speaking in the first person yet he used the third person for ´nisanlaniyor´

The middle bit is the key, then let me explain the bit on the left and then the right!

Sebebi: The reason for ...... is........

The first set of dots is filled by senden uzak durmam: my staying away from you

uzak durmak: to stay away

uzak durmam: my staying away

senden: from you

The second set of dots is filled by nişanlanıyor olmam: my being in the state of becoming engaged.

olmak: to be

olmam: my being

nişanlanmak: to become engaged

nişanlaniyor olmam: my getting engaged.

So put it all together:

The reason I am (or have been) staying away from you is that I am getting (or have got) engaged.
