Iþte
How many times haven´t i heard someone say ´iþte´.
Apart from the meaning ´at work´, could anyone give some examples as to when to use
´iþte´ like it´s commonly being used?

Doudi94, you´re right. I´ve also seen that McDonalds slogan many times in Turkey. The meaning of it would be rather something like: This is it, this is what i like, i assume. It´s not a question, but a statement.

Seems to me it´s used a bit like ´voila!´ is used in French.

Another example:
Nasýlsýn?
Eeeee iþte napayým

How are you?
Hmmm well, what should I do? (Im ok, just the same as usual, dont expect to hear any exciting news from me, something like that )
Ãþte böyle: that´s the way it is.
´Ya bilmiyorum iþte´
Well I just don´t know! (don´t ask further because Ive told you I just dont know)
Ãþte, ben de öyle dedim ona.
See, I said the same to her.
Precisely, that´s what I told her as well!

until you´ve spent years learning iþte you´re almost guaranteed to misuse it. There´s no dýrect translation, but you´re right it´s very close to the french viola (sp?)
One of it´s many meanings is as boþ ver, "don´t ask, who cares anyway?"
-iþte yaptým, o kadar
Another is as ne olsun,"isn´t is obvious?" or "What could it be?"
-hayatým iþte, okula git gel git gel

Actually I dont totally agree. It is so frequently used, that you get used to different usages easily. It may be hard to use it for yourself in your own produced sentences at first, but you get acquainted with certains forms of it really fast and start adopting them in your own speech quickly too.
