In my point of view his such attack on femmeous was funny.

It really wasn´t funny at all, no matter who it was aimed at.  Even if femmeous wasn´t offended it was the right decision to delete, as were the references to a sexual act.

It wasn´t his posts that were funny, it was the spectacle of Cynicmystic and thehandsom, two grown men,  arguing "in the playground" that was funny.  It always amuses me, the way Turkish TC men seem to get so offended and insulted so very quickly and begin to scream like banshees or cry like babies.  The obscenity that C aimed at Femmeous was disgusting and wasn´t funny, but there were other facets that were.

As for C´s post here on this thread, it seems to me it wasn´t his opinion but a deliberate act to wind certain people up and I´m afraid he´s already hooked you Aenigma. Job done as far as he´s concerned.  He´s found an irritation and he´s inflaming it quite successfully.  No I don´t agree with that  and those particular posts of his are best  ignored for what they are, rubbish.

I think C´s political posts are extremely well put together and I agree with his main argument regarding  thehandsom, that (in the politics forum) he posts material in order to attract heated debate from certain other members.  If H wants to do that let him, and if people want to challenge him about it, let them too.  H may dispute this charge  but it´s the way I interpret his political comment.  It´s not so much his views but the way he goes about goading then attempting to ridicule.

Having said all of that, I enjoy reading many of the arguments that H participates in because it gives me, a non Turk, an incite into the history of the conflicts in Turkey.  It doesn´t help me to make any judgement about these conflicts though as there seems to be so much evidence that can be produced for either argument.

As I read the exchanges it was the visions I conjured up in my own mind that amused.  Two silly, egotistical men determined to have the last word.

Perhaps there may also have been some private pickling going on.  Liver pickling.

I am refering to deleted posts Peacetrain.  It has nothing to do with any arguing between theHandsom and him.  Until yesterday, I found Cynicmystic´s posts good reading (whether I agreed or not) and funny to read their arguments too.

You can take the girl out of Turkey, but you can´t take Turkey out of the girl...

 You seem to be making some kind of statement about Turkish people here and not a very nice one.  {#lang_emotions_rant}

I will take your point on board when I see you defending comments about Western women here...

Yes I saw that you were not offended. However, many women are offended when this kind of demeaning sexual reference is used to put us in our place.

I dont defend you, I defend women...

This I agree with. I was trying to think of how to put this point across.  Thanks

Well maybe SOME of them do! lol

Sorry, but women who enjoy all the benefits of equality but continue to perpetuate stereotypical ideas about gender, deserve to be put in burkas, lose their vote, be beaten by their husbands, raped and enjoy all the other benefits of a male dominated society

 +1

well said

i often watch russian humour shows (i love it) where they primitively humiliate women. and women participate as sex objects. and they altogether laugh at those primitve jokes. i just ask myself questions why dont women see the problem there?

Good... perhaps you have an idea of what REAL liberated women feel when this misogynistic crap is uttered and people like you laugh at it

I´m repeating it in case it can remind you that sometimes you need to make more effort to get more insight.

I did not laugh at it saying "ohhh how funny it´s, I want more more" Laughing is another thing, the background of it and why you find funny is another thing. Then when people see someone falling down in front of cameras, they are in fact such evill people who take pleasure from people getting harm.

It was not the words he used I found funny, but it was him using it against "femmeous" was funny.Diamond cuts diamond.

And it was disgusting, but it was about "smell" I cannot get how you see it as a attack against all women and find an occasion to show how much more "liberated woman" you are free from men oppression.

I would agree more if you found it offensive, but you find it offensive against women. Are you obsessed?

but you see women like mltm canli libra peacetrain or alameda didnt get offended,

I think I´ve already documented what I did and didn´t find funny and the references to fish and sexual acts were definitely not funny.  Now the donkey references were very funny.  And also thehandsom as a non native English speaker, sometimes has an endearing turn of phrase which makes his posts all the more interesting to read. (this is not a criticism of H btw).

All I see here is blah blah blah while you try to take a backwards step from your original comments... lol

You are now even saying you were not laughing?  Yet you accused me of having no sense of humour about it! lol

You are funny!
