I heard in Türkiye, at Lise, you can choose from 2 directions:

- Science
- Literature

Is there someone around here who chose the literature-section at highschool? What do they teach you at highschool about Turkish literature?

Do you have to read books at highscool, from Turkish authors? If so, could you make a list of books that you read during highscool?

THANKS

there are four directions

* science (math,physics,chemistry,turkish)
*literature(turkish,history,geography,philosophy)
*equal(we say this eşit ağırlık) (turkish,math)
*foreign languages(english,turkish and german sometimes french and other languages)

and they attend university according to their lise directions

Ohh wow that link kicks ass! I didn't totally understand it tho.. is it like a one year preperatory class for university, or are it like modules that don't last the entire year.. or what?

Do you think I could mail those people and ask them for a list of selected works, of which they speak?

Isn't it just original turkish tea, but given that name to attract foreigners to buy it?
