Catwoman : short haired, slender, slow moving, tidy, immaculate...

thehandsome: frail, balding, jovivial, entertaining

Roswitha: I picture her as relentlessly browsing from one article to another depicting oriental life.

Ladyinred:Considerate, mellow, easy-going, solemn, distant, silent

Aenigma: easily bored, irritated equally easily cheers up, well-cared-for,dominant yet beautiful

Daydreamer: takes life lightly, likes shopping and travelling.

You´re almost right, the only mistake was shopping. I hate it!

I find this quite amusing.............. but in my opinion, the image that is portrayed by members here are not their real selves, they are entirely different people and would never act in realife the way they act on here - except me

or, they are their real selves but in real life they act entirely differently!

btw I like some of the descriptions, I had never visalised thehandsom as frail or bald or Catwoman as slow, I imagine here always in a rush to do something or get somewhere.

thehandsom : handsome, calm, a good reader but not a good listener and very intelligent !

catwoman : not feminine, good at pretending to be open minded.

elisabeth : quite beautiful, confident and arrogant

Aenigma : beautiful and funny but angry

sui: i saw his picture anyway

femme : UGLY, arrogant, aggressive but lovely

Canli : brunette, beautiful dark eyes and open minded

Vineyard  : sometimes angry, sometimes very friendly , typical turkish and a good father but not very handsome

teaschip : typical American , blonde, blue eyes, white skin and a bit fat ( like all american)

handsom is just so happy to be called "balding" instead of hairy!!

Here is my take on some of my friends here:

TEASCHIP:  a very tidy woman who wears pearls and white gloves

GIRLEEGIRL:  a lovely lady who spends her time reclining and eating bonbons

CATWOMAN:  slender woman who wears leather pants and has several man slaves to do her bidding

AENIGMA:  a slightly deranged, yet strangely attractive schizophrenic patient who really lives at a mental hospital on an island off the coast of the UK.  She insists that she is the only rightful Queen of England.

TRUDY:  she is really a jet setting supermodel who only pretends to be a teacher.

HANDSOM:  he ensnares young women with his rapior wit and dudu charms...he is about 5´10", dark hair and eyes, but has a slight hump on his back which he insists is from an old war injury but is really just a lump of hair.

DAYDREAMER:  really has about 15 kids.....hasn´t slept in 10 years.

15 kids? that´s one too many, 14 is true but 15 is a serious exaggeration!

My turn (please notice alphabetical order):

Alameda - the faith warrior, Islam´s first PR lady. Somehow I suspect she´s not as sanctimonious and patronising in her real life as she´s shown her sense of humour on several occasions and I couldn´t help but agree with her on quite a number of issues.

Canli - our Egyptian voice of reason, I love her attitute to debates and maturity. Of course she´s sometimes biased but...who isn´t?

Catwoman - I´ve met her so I know what she is/looks like. And, no, I won´t feed your gossip-hungry curiosity

Daydreamer - a whole book on her wouldn´t be enough to show her charm, intelligence, sense of humour and beauty (inside and outside)

Deli_kizin - a frivolous girl who´s just grew up from her teens. Sweet blonde with a Dutch moral conduct and dislike of having one´s personal freedom limited

Doudi - rumour has it she´s 15 (?!), which would explain the tortures she does to older members who are unwilling to accept that this is the English of tomorrow (they should visit other forums to be dead sure about that). She´s absolutely lovely, absent-minded,  noisy and hyperactive

Elisabeth - currently eating a tuna sandwich with a Mars bar and craving for a huge cup of chocolate ice-cream with mustard. No idea why but I´ve always considered her to be delicate and very feminine (That explains Thehandsom´s interest in her)

Lady In Red - a Brit who deliberately moved to Turkey in spite of NOT having a dudu but her very own British husband. All day long sits on her terrace is a beautiful spot somewhere by the seaside and laughs at TC fights. Occasionally she remembers that she´s a mod and promptly PMs everyone threatening to delete them. Two miniutes later she forgets about her threats and joins the fight

Roswitha - the Poster, the Archivist, the Googler. Gives more food for fight to debate-loving TC members than anybody else

Sui - vide Catwoman

Teaschip - have you seen the Canadian version of Ann of Grean Gables? She reminds me of Maryla Cuthbert but is youger than her. A strong Texan, the opposite of Southern Belle - tough woman, a bit harsh but devoted to her country, religion and rules. I bet she´s got the US flag in her frontyard and, with a beer in her hand, she loughs loudly while hamburgers are getting ready on the BBQ

TheAenigma - blonde Brit from a little island down below. Amongst her hobbies are getting wasted at weekends, pretending to be working on weekdays, dying her friends´ pets pink (that´s why she´s short of friends and has to be on TC almost 24/7 with the exeption of weekends when she´s getting drunk). Oh, have I mentioned her love for argument and sense of humour?

Thehandsom - must be about 40, a normal guy...hold on..normal? Nah, nobody in the IT business is normal. So, he´s a guy with a touchpad instead fingers and an LCD glasses. Tries to keep up the image of a Turkish Dudu/sapik but we all know he´s way too serious for that. The Revolutionary in breaking loads of Turkish taboos

Trudy - I´m having problems here - on the one hand she loves a good laugh, on the other gets serious within a second. Well-informed, we-educated and an absolute travelling maniac! If, in the middle of a tropical jungle, you ever meet a Dutch woman with shorts, glasses on a string, huge backpack on her back and a map in the hand - it´ll be her

Vineyards - a typical Turk, not the Dudu type, proud of who he is and where he is. On the outside he seems calm and diplomatic, but he´ll never miss a chance to give a verbal spanking to anyone who dares not to share his views. Sometimes he´s deadly serious, sometimes surprises us with less serious tones.

Yilgun - I could write an essay with his psychoanalysis but Ae would call that bullying. Say something nice...ok, he´s young, ambitious and loves googling

ugghh that´s hard!

Say something nice...ok, he´s young, ambitious and loves googling

ugghh that´s hard!

random order... and I couldn´t really make it just about looks...

Vineyards - a serious looking man, patiently changing diapers of his little son; likes a glass of raki on a weekend while talking about Turkish politics.

Girleegirl - blonde and beautiful, although says that ´looks don´t matter´

Aenigma - same as Girleegirl regarding the looks; changes her mind often because she´s open-minded

Ciko - short and sweet looking, possibly charming and has a sense of humor

Daydreamer - "you can steal horses with her", no-drama kind of woman, great looking without making any effort, absolutely in love with her son

Elisabeth - good looking, tall, opinionated, but humble enough to genuinely respect different ideas; channels her anger as humor.

Teaschip - funny, intelligent and able to discuss her ideas when she differs; in requited love with Sui, absolutely loves roses and butterflies.... should live in Texas

Sui - fun, intelligent, able to discuss his ideas... charming and flirtatious

Thehandsom - confident to the point of not being threatened by equality of women, often depressed, but takes himself with a dose of humor... loves to tease EVERYONE, sophisticated, a bit fat and balding.. but thinks he´s handsome

Admin - the sexiest man alive....

Sonunda - witty, smart, well taken care of lady with a vast knowledge about the world..

Lady in Red - has the best sense of humor, very young in her spirit, well taken care of lady, energetic, outspoken..

Libralady - fun, energetic, loves being active and discovering new places... shows her serious and mature side, yet doesn´t mind an occasional flirt

Canli - very mature, smart, strong, intelligent, a bit biased about Islam

Deli kizin - fun, liberal, smart and mature, a typical blonde who likes to pamper herself

Trudy - likes attention, though would never admit it

Mltm - biased on some issues... yet, lovely and absolutely stunning...

Roswitha - intelligent lady, a bit lonely sometimes, although seems a bit mild and meek, has quite a temperament; very good looking and elegant

Geniuda - an American-Hispanic, has the best of both worlds gorgeous, fun, loving..

Doudi - reminds us of how we used to be when we were 14 very intelligent and fun

Ok, here are mine...off the top of my head.

Lady In Red Likes to socialize, long straight hair, prefers the color red, plans parties, and a great mod...

Catwoman- Long black hair, little make up, prefers jeans over dresses, intelligent, likes to stimulate her mind, likes challenges and has stock in hustler.

Girlee Girl – Pretty, ambitious, really is a republican, likes to read and funny

Elisabeth- Determined, has great values, good mother, funny and compassionate, head of the PTA

Alameda – Short, semi-grey, glasses and facial hair…that’s if she is a he. Compassionate about learning, researching, posting links and doesn´t like me

Libra Lady – Adventuresome, career orientated, some humor and really loves American fast food.

Thehandsom – Probably gorgeous, but doesn’t want to disclose his attractiveness to heartbroken TC members in fear of spams, open minded, intelligent, and funny.

Aenigma – Pretty, english nose, deep down very sensitive, environmentalist, animal lover, occasionally may cheat and eat chicken, is yearning to have god in her life.

DayDreamer – Really an American, short blond hair, no makeup, intelligent and wears tie dyes Vineyard – Proud father, intelligent, confident and caregiver and cute.

Geniuda - Funny and too pretty to have dated K......

Yilgun-7 - Enthusiast, friendly and cute.

Femme- I won´t call her a good mother, since she got upset the last time I said this.  Funniest member of TC and smart.

Catwoman: short, dark/brownish short hair, the sporty type of clothes but not the trainers-type (this was my idea before I saw your pic ), intelligent doctor to be, open-minded but sometimes looses herself in her enthusiasm about her own points of view, doesn´t like to sit still, funny, has absolutely NO idea what REALLY sexy is. A great friend.

Daydreamer: powerful woman, like said before: the kind that is beautiful without any effort, not too tall, blond short hair {#lang_emotions_cool}, a good mother, good sense of humour, actually the type of personality Id like to have when ´I grow up´ , knows how to appreciate certain Dutch foods.

Lady in red: short, curly, kind of blonde hair, doesn´t get a sunburn quickly, everything but fat, loving, modest, great sense of humour and lovely to talk to.

thehandsom: I think all is said   the type that some Turks would call ´aydýn´ eventhough Im a little allergic to that word, intelligent, arrogant with a tongue in the cheek, great taste in poetry. I think your looks have been discussed enough, and they were sort of what I thought too

Sui: tall, dark, green kind of eyes, a deep love for butterflies, generally open minded about Turkey and willing to criticise, but sometimes says something that you feel ´{#lang_emotions_wtf} you´re better than that´, (sorry ), great taste in music!!! Enjoys votka with cherry and a cigarette.

Aenigma: tall, blonde, environmentalist & veganist who has achieved the miraculous lifestyle in which bacon is no longer involved, to my surprise a smoker!!, lonely, talks too much sometimes and does nothing but complain about mods spoils every thread and then makes mods join her, intelligent and deliciously a-religious.

Roswitha: Google Abla

girleegirl: sits there all alone in the middle of nowhere, for some reason I also picture you blonde but I dont know why great sense of humour and affection for alcoholic beverages

Teaschip: when I first saw your picture a month or 2 ago, I didn´t read your comment and I actually thought you were your mom! I think I should leave it there  Hope you still want to meet in Crowne Plaza

DD how did you write that I already got bored!! I think nearly all of the ´close members´ are fun and wonderful people, it would be great to meet and have a drink.

MarioninTurkey - serious looking, but fun once you get to know her (I don´t actually know her, but that´s my impression of her); short, curly hair, fashionable glasses, slim and swift.

femme - though you might think that one can either love or hate her, she´s really a puppy inside; doesn´t care about looks, goes for comfort; skinny.

Oh, and it was me who thought Teas was Texan. Sorry Teas!

And I forgot to characterise GG - she seems an American version of AE but less aggressive and less on the veggie side. I´d say short blonde hair, kind of Geri Halliway (sp?) style, responsible, persistent but never missing out a chance for a good laugh.

This is how i imagine Roswitha lol:

i imagine her , having short maybe red or brownish red curly hair, sitting in either 2 places, on a rocking chair on her porch, with her laptop with her, ot in this huge library... sitting on this huge black leather chair, endlessly looking for books, and in the library, all the shelves are full of boos, and she has this huge notepad by her where she writes all these things, and she finds something on the laptop and then instantly writes it on the paper, like some kind of mad genius! Or also on a rocking chair, inside the library, with rading glasses on, on the tip of her nose, finds something intersting in a book, then googling it really quick!

I think shes a very i dont know the word, cultured, umm, sophsticated, you know what i mean!

every way.

You know, I have a serious problem with being a bed Turk. I do not like most Turkish food. In particular anything with eggplant (patlýcan) or green peppers and a lot of tomato sauce. I have tried, really I have, but my body rebels.

I hate to admit, I don´t think Turkish food is particularly healthy either. Perhaps in the past it was, but now there are too many refined and over over processed and over cooked products in it. I hate baklava. I get ill just looking at it.

The bread is tasty, but it´s made out of white flour which doesn´t have much nutritional value.

I wish more healthy eating practices would be introduced to Turkey. It would be nice if there were more whole grains and fresh raw veggies.

So you see, dear Aenigma, I don´t think I´ll ever be able to really be a bed Turk. I do love the people and their wonderful manners and hospitality, it´s just the food that bothers me.

Hmmm.....I love lamb or mutton and yougurt...maybe there is still a chance?

Do what you must my dear....but I have noticed Turks have an high incidence of blood sugar problems and "rheumatism" and arthritis. These are very often a result of poor nutrition.

lol i knoww. the thing about having one eye covered that Femme mentioned is plain nonsense.

RIYARIYADH, April 1 -- A new splinter group of Muslims in Saudi Arabia has declared that the Wahabbi sect, considered strict by many people, is actually promoting lasciviousness and immoral Western values.

Though the customary burkas worn by women in these countries cover all of the body except for the eyes, a new group of imams have decried the garment for showing too much.

I don´t go shopping or work in my bikini (I just wear it to lay in the sun and swim!).

is it because it is too cold?

i remember last year we talked about, where i tried to point out the sillyness of comparing these two things.

shame on you to justify your cruel dress code by pointing the bikini that is not a common wear of the free world.

it´s crap really that people think wearing burqa is backward n bikini is not... like hello~ Assuming Darwin was right and that non-muslims believe in evolution, people in the medieval times dont wear clothes.. so who´s backward now.. the ones who walks naked on beaches or the ones dressed modestly in clothes

But zettea, if you truly follow this argument then don´t you invalidate your own theory?  After all, how many babies have you seen that have born fully clothed!!! {#lang_emotions_unsure}
