The bar is closed I´m afraid. You´ll have to wait until 18.00 (UK time).

Ya know, this whole "UK" time thingy doesn´t seem to be working out for some of us. I think we need another hostess to be on duty during A-nig´s off hours!

Perhaps YOU could take over as hostess to bed Amerikans?
PS. Has Bod not discovered this thread yet? I guess it´s just a matter of time

Actually it´s 24 hour drinking in the UK now so I think the 6.00 p.m. bar opening time in the Lounge is actually just to give The Hostess time to get back from her day job!!

Is it, really? Wow, the Irish are so backward with their no alcohol before 10.30...and what do you mean to give her time to get back from her day job? As if her job EVER stopped her from serving drinks

I don´t think every bar/pub stays open 24 hours - the law just gives them the option to open for the times that suit them - i.e. open early or stay open late.
Do you think she is the tealady in her office then???
