Most citizens are too busy just trying to survive to get very involved in politics. They don´t have the time or energy to get involved, to learn the issues, learn how to effect change.
I have to agree with this. I feel like his success will lie in his ability to inspire the American people to do the work that is needed. His power becomes very limited once people loose faith in him. I hope he can keep his momentum.

All I can say to this is you guys are teaching me Turkish words that I probably would never had learned in my normal course of life....

It means ´a wrestler who keeps loosing will always ask for more matches´.

I agree. Come on Tami, give us more, than we all know what to say when a guy in Turkey is harassing us ´innocent´ tourists..... (besides, your attempts - no more than that - give GG more ammunition, which is very much fun!)

My cousin´s uncle-in-law is one of the men standing behind President Obama in the photo. He and other former military leaders were instrumental in lobbying all of the presidental candidates during the campaign to end the torture and illegal detention of prisoners at Guantanamo.
