I can´t find one thing inspirational about Obama...besides he is our first black president.  Don´t forget Alameda a little under than half of our population did NOT vote for him.  So quit using your intimidating tactics and words to try to silence me it won´t work.  Not every American is happy about this....like you would like to perceive.

He never claimed to walk on water.....and I don´t know anyone who did...he certainly did not.

The fact of the matter is he has a BA in Political Science, he majored in International Relations, was president of the Harvard Law Review, taught constitutional law for 12 years....

alameda, I am very well aware of his background.  I never said he is not a brilliant man.  Just because I didn´t vote for him, does not mean I dislike him or think he is an idiot.  However, many Americans do believe he is some kind of savior.  That is what I was referring to.  I only hope he can live up to their expections......that was my point.

There is no reason for you to be so defensive.

I hope he does too Elisabeth, believe me I do. I´m sure there will be things he does I will not agree with.

Given our choices, I think he was the best choice. Now, let´s pray or wish or whatever for his doing the best job for all of us....and I do mean all of us. He´s got a very daunting task ahead of him.

One look at the sea of people in Washington DC, and the millions watching the inauguration around the world, tells the story.  This man is offering hope at a time when millions have lost it.  He is bringing together people of all races, religions, classes and cultures.

He is no messiah, he is the new President of the United States and all i can say is WooHoo!!!!!
