So you can make a choice as to whether you watch it or not, it is the film Zeitgeist.

This is worth watching mainly because it makes the viewer think-- it demands it! That is the main thing that I think everyone should be doing.

It did make me think, Ros....but it didn´t make me doubt my own personal belief system.  I think it is a bit paranoid and does not adequately address sources.

The ability to think is the greatest asset we have........

I find it a great pity that so many people choose to follow the thoughts of others rather than making their own decisions and choices - this seems especially true of religious belief.

This is just the artwork for the dvd isn´t it?  I watched the film after Alpha´s link yesterday and  personally found it very interesting and thought-provoking.

shame on you alpha. you`re just being a typical conspiracy theory loving Turk. Don`t get fooled by this video, folks. America is as innocent as an angel, it just wants to bring "democracy" to some "uncivilized" lands!

I watched the last one, the english comic, it was nice. So thank you for the links.

About Zeitgeist, I would reffer only to the issue of religion - Christianity. I found these theories rather interesting ones. As I lack a very deep insight of the subject, I can only say that I tend to agree on the issue that Christianity and the story of Jesus incorporates former cults based on astronomic observations. But it is that Jesus´s profecies have also more things to say than just the crown of thorn/sun-rays. Are pretty higghly elaborated teachings, also. Transformed, converted, corrupted teachings during transcriptions and according to the interests of the church, but there are still teachings. And what about the expected Messiah? Cannot be only a transcending into a new zodiac of the Sun.

Guess I will return to watch the rest of the movie, not before thanking Alpha for this rather interesting movie. May we have many mores!

I agree. I started watching it and I would be interested to learn more about where the information comes from. I think any data can be manipulated in either direction and any visual images can be juxtaposed in a movie. Truth is usually somewhere down the middle. I did find the film interesting and one that asks important questions, however I´m not sure it provides all the answers.

What absolutely drained all the blood from me is the recording of the (I´m assuming) phone conversation with the man in the WTC tower before it collapsed.

Interesting.....particularly the last part. Dr. David Ray Griffin asks questions...that have not been addressed.

did you see Wag the Dog?

I have watched Zeitgeist Addendum, also. On the movie´s homepage you can find the address for watching it on Google videos. I´m sure that those who enjoyed Zeitgeist, the movie will find this one pretty interesting, too
