Ý just got a list of Turkish channels frequencies from a friend to update mine.

Ý was wondering which channels that you would recommend to watch, and which channels with the English subtitle ´if there is ones´ ?

Not just for movies

But what channel you recommend for the news

What for sport

What for music/songs

What for movies

And so one...

Thanks.

Atv is probably the most popular channel, along with Show tv, but they don´t have english subtitles, and I don´t know of any other channel that has. There´s CNBC-e with american series and turkish subtitles.

I don´t really know for movies, most of the channels show a variety of series and movies. For music I recommend powertürk (or kral tv).

Unfortunately if you want to watch sports (read=football) live, you have to pay for LigTV. The other channels rarely show live matches.

I guess channels like FoxTurk and NBC would have american films and other english films and so it is possible they would show turkish subtitles for english-language movies.

The new channel TRT 6 which broadcasts in Kurdish and Arabic may have subtitles but i dont think it´s on fta yet ormaybe hard to find...

Other than that then just hope MBC continues to show Turkish films with arabic subtitles instead of being dubbed
