I think its better to have knowledge about this reciprocal useless apology campaigns beforehand having opinions. Let me remind Armenians campaign will be started by an Australian Armenian, so i think it is important to know why he started such a campaign and what he aims by this. It is not surprising that Zaman hadnt mentioned this, because imo Zaman´s aim to just deceive people by saying "Armenians are apologizing too" so that AKP will continue its slave politics more freely. Lets look what this Australian Armenian says; first he clearly says he was afftected by the campaign started by so-called Turkish intellectuels and he was still thinking that Turks were apologizing for the alleged genocide, and its funny how he degraded the Armenian attacks in WW1, he says "Of course these crimes cannot be compared with the crime of annihilating a whole nation, but these are still crimes.". He mentions Turks sooner or later will accept this genocide. I have to say that this man not living in Armenia and may be the most moderate one but he is still insisting that turks genocided Armenians which is clearly not acceptable for Turkey.

Now lets see the big picture, everybody knows world having an economic crisis recentlyi and for sure Armenia´s economy is not good and they want Turkey to open Turkey-Armenia border. So lately Armenia tries to develop a relationship with Turkey by not losing anything and i guess AKP accepted their demands. But AKP needs to explain this to Turkish nation and these campaigns help AKP to direct their slavery politics. I think again a theatre is being performed and aim is as i mentioned to open Turkey-Armenia border in order to save Armenia and the cover of explaining this to Turkey is "Look, Armenians are also apologizing!". And its groundwork is being prepared by both Turkish and Armenian authorities. Armenia will reach its aim and again Turkey gains nothing, very usual for AKP politics.

By the way if Armenians are so sincere, why do they not retreat from Karabagh according to UN decisions? then for sure Turkey will open the border gates.

Lastly why none of these intellectuels point out the games of imperialists during WW1 which made this two nation bloody enemy? Anyway by my side one of the best thing had done by the state of Ottoman, deportation is one of the solution while they were active in WW1 and being killed inside by Armenians except there were some problems in the implementation of deportation.
