You know ..once i had just a look over this thread...and saw that it has to be written ´hiçbir þey´ not ´hiç birþey´ à only got that this is corect..thats why i think will be usefull for all of us to know..Ãts easier to learn corectly a language (even written) than to corect your native. So its more useful for us than for natives.
Well I think the idea was that if she could get all the Turks to write correctly then it would be better for us.

Agree. trouble is that many of the things we are asked to translate are not from books or from formal letters, but from chatrooms and comments on Facebook. People use slang, short forms, "SMS speak" etc in these communications, whether we are talking about Turkish, or english and probably, for all I know, in Swahili too!

I understand what you are saying.. Many times when i speak with a turkish i have to ask him/ her to speak correctly because i dont understand. I dont have to understand their slang they must speak correct. Im ashamed of their shameless of speaking bad their native language.

Thank you Diliduduk and Scientius for your posts. But because the title of the thread is ´...Especially for Turkish speaking natives´ and you gave the explanation only in turkish you have to change the title in ´...only for natives´. Thank you once again for not posting in english too.. those who are learning turkish dont need to know this unuseful grammar rules.
A really late reply from me, but anyway
I did say it was "especially for natives" because they are the ones who make these mistakes most of the time and lead you wrong. You learners mostly use a proper language because you learn with the rules from the beginning. I have copy-pasted this one day from the Turkish language association´s website (www.tdk.gov.tr) because I was so sick of correcting the spelling of the translations made by Turkish natives. And since it was really long, I was lazy to translate it actually.
But I promise now, when I have time, I will do it
