Information (no translation!): I have a Turkish man of about 55 year in one of my classes. He speaks Dutch badly - therefor he is at school - and he is so very much stubborn! He sometimes refuses to correct his mistakes because he keeps telling me it is correct and he thinks he knows it all. Most I can handle that, but sometimes I get so fed up with this behaviour. Of course I can tell him to be silent, to stop (or just to shut up ) but I like to have some ´witty´ remarks in Turkish to ´let him know his place´. I don´t want to be rude or insulting. Anyone ideas?

Of course! How could I forget, Turks are ALWAYS right, even if they can´t say a three-word sentence without mistakes in MY language. Thanks, Tami, for reminding me this.
