is it possible you could provide me or point me in the right direction i want to try and make some turkish slipper socks, ( the ones that i am always given as presents when i come to turkey) but i cant seem to find a pattern for them. i have looked on net and i am still no further forward, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Oh that shocked me to see my name as the subject of a thread!  lol  lol   Lessluv suggested me didn´t she?  Unfortunately I think that was her idea of a joke (You smartass!)  - the last time I knitted anything was half a sweater (got bored!) when I was about 16 years´ old!!  However, I´ll ask around here and see if I can find out for you.

 I must say there are some beautiful pairs out there.  My personal pair (present from Turkish visitor) are a rather garish green and yellow diagonal pattern).   I just found a link to something called ´Grandma´s Ugly Afghan Slippers´ which I was quite interested in but unfortunately the link didn´t work!   I also found one link to a banned site!!!  How can Turkey ban a site about Turkish slippers???  You crazy?

I like the first pair catwoman found...the color is perfect.  I just want to make sure these are not wool..I don´t do wool..my skin is sensitive.  So I hear LIR makes these?  Can you make a matching scarf too?Roll eyes
