SELAM TUNC BEY BEN ERDEM YANI GARDASIN UMARIM TANIDIN
My attempt: "Greetings mr. Tunc I am ERDAM that is to say you are a ´guard´ (like in sports) I hope that we have met before"

SELAM TUNC BEY BEN ERDEM YANI GARDASIN UMARIM TANIDIN
maybe this will be better
"Hello Mr Tunc.I am Erdem I mean your bro...I hope you recognized me."
In this sentence confusing word will be "gardas"...it is an informal expression...means "kardeþ"...we can call in English instead of "gardas" bro...

As a native speaker It doesn´t make sense "so you are at the railway station" I think your bro will better

"I think only canimarab can know because he has the context were used this sentence."
I think you will find canimarab is female, with her boyfriend Erdem.
Hopefully she can settle the discussion about which translation was correct in her sentence!

´Ben yani gardasın´ is actually ´Ben yani kardeşin´ and mean ´It is me, your brother´
