Bebeðimiz dünyaya geldi.. Hala olduum

Our baby came into the world. (not sure of the second bit)

hala, isn´t that turkish for aunt (your father´s sister)?

But how can one be aunt of her own baby?

 hala means still so it should be ´im still...´

or it may be ´hala´=´still´    ??

But what can it be? ´ Im still shocked´??? ´Im still dead´ ( figurative speaking) ?

Why can´t it be ´I´m an Aunt´?   The first sentence says ´our baby´ - true - but my daughter-in-law just had a baby and I told someone on msn ´by the way ´our baby´ arrived´ - just an expression really - like he belongs to all of the family!

 I think this makes sense...
