And in Belgium, Spain, Canada, Norway, Sweden and South-Africa. Plus some states in the US as well: Massachusetts, Iowa, Connecticutt, Vermont and Maine.

Well, the Supreme Court has ruled it´s the prerogative of the individual state whether or not it wishes to acknowledge another state´s civil union; but in America they´re not quite labelled "marriages" yet, except in Hawaii, I think, though don´t quote me on that. They´re certainly not acknowledged in the military! I know that much!

Hey silence, why don´t you do as your name suggests and keep your backwards, ignorant trap shut.
If anyone goes to hell, it is people like you who are intolerant of someone who might not fit the teeny little mold you make for people.

An intolerent God.....how wonderful and uplifting! I can read perfectly....and I can read between the lines too. You think you can tell someone they are going to hell and then make yourself look good by wishing them "good"??? How inane!
But that´s the inherent problem with people like you .... you spout beliefs even when you claim its not YOUR belief. What´s the point? You are tolerent but your God isn´t? Pffffftttttttttttttt.....rubbish!
Followers = mindless!

Oh, now, I´m a follower, though most Muslims might not agree since I´m Jewish, but I digress. I wished the couple well, but I do tacitly fear what the Almighty has in store for us; does that make me mindless? I´m just curious, because every time I see someone who is religious being attacked by a tolerant person, the tolerant person seems very intolerant of those which religious ideologies...
Whatever, hope you two can figure out how insurance and inheritance works with civil unions because I always failed that portion in my law classes. All the best to you both and G-D bless everyone, until we die, and then - only then - will we see what happens.
Until then, enjoy your wedding cake and presents, and get plenty of gift receipts!
