Just thought I´d say (since this looks like the conversation for it) that theres a really good program I use called BYKI "Before you know it", if you search it on google you can download it for free, it´s great!

I´ve used Byki as well, since they have a lot of free lists If you download the Turkish version, you get a bunch of lists (I think it was 5 lists of words and expressions). But if you search for lists on the website (keyword Turkish) you can get even more free lists! Do notice that some are made by other users, and these may contain mistakes. I just download the official lists (made by Transparent Language or TL)

You probably know that these things are not legal. These softwares and documents need licences and they are generally not free. If you get them freely, that means you get an illegal copy. That may be a problem for this website on the laws.

Sure that is not my or your problem if you look like that. No matter how and why you access these things, you easily can get them. This can be argued for a long time with big sentences and ideas. I just tell you that it is not legal.

Someone works and makes a program or writes a document and people don´t give them the payment what they desire. From the  ethical perspective, that is not true. On the laws and court, that is not legal either because people do not pay that value.

I know, this website is not that big and I don´t think that someone go and complain about this to the courts, but if that happens (somehow I don´t know who and why tht happens), that means this website will be down forever or live as a "underground/warez" website.

That is just a point of  "prestige", if you care...

May I please get a copy? I am looking to burn these to standard audio cds to listen to and practice durring my commutes to and from work. My old BMW will only play the old format discs. No MP3, no auxilary input, no iPod jack

The person (ReyhanL, aka zeytinne) who posted this offer hasn´t used this web-site since last year, and the links she posted for the download are no good now.

I suggest that you may need to buy the book and CD set from the internet. In my opinion the book (Teach Yourself Turkish) is a very good learning tool, if you don´t already have it. The CD is reasonable, and covers over a dozen short conversations taken from the book. In my opinion the book is needed to complement the audio files.

There is also another useful set (4) of books and CDs called Türkçe Okuyorum (I Read Turkish) that can be bought from Pandora Books in Istanbul. It has more conversations, and questions and answers regarding each conversation to test your understanding.

i dont know if i should help or not, but i have the audio files and the complete book, i looked it up from the internet and found it. i can send it to those who need it i guess...

People work for it, they put effort and they prepare nice books, sets. Then you just "giveaway" their efforts without giving them money. How does that sound fair?
