Ýmek verb pls

merhaba

please I want to know how can I use (Ýmek) verb

can I say:

ben öðretmen or I shall say  öðretmenim

can any one explain this verb with all uses

I cant understand this rule by my self

I didn´t really understand you but

 

you have to say: Ben bir öðretmenim

but i think you mean olmak.

idim, idin,... etc is the past tense of olmak, but there´s no such verb as imek.

Aha

 

I am: -(y)im -(y)ým -(y)üm -(y)um

for example: I am happy= Mutlu-yum= Mutluyum

 

You are: -sin -sýn -sün -sun

for example: You are cute= Tatlý-sýn= Tatlýsýn

 

It/He/she is: -dir -dýr -dür -dur or nothing

for example: He is a doctor= O bir doktor(dur)

Thats it.. but I study it as imek geþmiþ zaman

idi..... means he was

idim...... i was  etc
