To test my Turkish ( or maybe my patience lol!) my boyfriend sent me a very long text message, ive managed to translate it all except for one sentence

sensin beni bu hayatta mutlu edecek tek kiþi

sensin = you are

beni = me

bu = this

hayatta = alive

mutlu = happy

edecek = ---------

tek = single

kiþi = person

Its only one word that i cant get, edecek, maybe it could be a spelling mistake, i dont know so thats why im looking for help, but the sentence is not making any sense to me. and i am just too stubborn to ask him to tell me what it is in english lol

edecek is the future tense from the verb etmek= to do, to make

hayat= life

canlý= alive

yes

or hayatta= canlý = alive

 Ahh i see, i havnt learnt future tense yet, and edecek looks nothing like etmek, i never would have made that connection

 yes, i double checked hayatta in the dictionary on here just to be doubly sure, as i have used this word a couple of times before, and it says hayatta = alive, its the only word listed for it

canlý > usually for animals

hayatta> usually for people

Dedem hala hayatta or sað (not canlý)

 i have seen this word before ´dedem´ does it mean alive aswell

and also is that ´hala´ spelt with the hat on the a´s?
