Dedem hala hayatta or sað (not canlý)

 

 

 

 i have seen this word before ´dedem´ does it mean alive aswell

and also is that ´hala´ spelt with the hat on the a´s?

dedeM = MY grandfather

hálá=still

 hala with hat on both a means still ( but nowadays turkish dont use that letter anymore) and hala means aunt. You can figure out from context if hala means aunt or still.
