Quoting Merih

 I think the doctor said:

Ciğerinde lekelenme var...

So the person who wrote this percieved it as karaciğer, as ciğer could both refer to akcğer (lungs) and karaciğer (liver)...

You maybe right Merih but pneumonia is not a staining kind of sickness; lungs blister when at pneumonia ... too much contrubitions with too much confussions {#emotions_dlg.scared}

 Ciğerde lekelenme var: For an x-ray or other type of scan "leke" can be translated as a stain, or a shadow. So, with pneumonia, you would see a shadow on the lung.

But ... without being able to ask the patient, or the doctor, what it really was, we are just guessing in the dark.

Anway, the important thing is they said not to panic!

Geçmiş olsun - both to the one who is sick, and to all the translators!

 Well, as MarioninTurkey said, normally they take an X-ray and tell you that there is a stain which could be the start of pneomonia.. may be I am going too far, but most proabaly, the tomography the person describes here is an X-ray itself... otherwise, tomography is quite an expensive testing method, and it would be the last resort to go after an X-ray,an ultrasound... or you have to be really really sick and lying down in the emergency.

Anyway, like MarioninTurkey said, gecmis olsun.
