Hi all,
Has anyone got any ideas for presents to take to my new girlfriend's family especially her mother? I would like to take her mother and sister and nephew something when I visit Istanbul in June. Any help much appreciated

I always think it is best to take something small, but meaningful. Maybe something traditional from your country. It is easier if you are a girl because you can make something. Good luck - I am sure whatever you bring will be appreciated.

Dont worry, I think they will be more interested in how you treat and respect your girlfriend

Something typically English - no not chips!!
Some chocolates maybe classic perfumed soaps, English tea. I am sure they will like anything - it is the thought that counts. Have a lovely time
