Yes, maybe you're right.In the name of honesty, we shouldn't hide anything, but still for me in this condition it would be better that this issue remained as a secret because I think if he learns this he would think that she's honest but he cannot trust her anymore even if she promises that she won't do it again. Maybe, it should be the other way, but sometimes practical life is different than the theoritical rights

I once had the same, it's almost two years ago now and kadir and i weren't even official yet. I regret it so much and i could blame the level of alcohol in my blood but that is such a lame excuse. I was just incredibly wrong. I told him. He forgave me. But he still doesn't totally trusts me and it is obvious he doesn't liek it when i go out. It makes me feel uncomfortable that he doesn't trust me on this matter, because i know that i will never do that. We are an official couple for more than a year now and i never cheated on him, never even looked at a guy to say so. I'm loyal and he is all i want. But trust is to be earned. I did to deserve that now i need to deserve his trust again. And i know my behavior will show him he can trust me fully.
Though i think honesty is one of the most important things in a relationship, i quite agree with Meltem.

Yes, the best of the best is not to ever cheat, but if cheated and you're terribly regretful, the best is not to tell it because the most difficult thing is to earn back the trust once it's lost.
