Herkese merhaba!
I´m here for a month now but still don´t know how to use public transport. we´ve been taking taxis or I´d travel in my bf´s car, but tomorrow i need to go to a job interview on my own.
Please help me understand where to find a map of bus routes (I found only tren, metro maps) and how exactly do you pay on a bus? I walked to the nearest bus stop today and saw that they´re using some blue tokens like for metro, am I right? I was too shy to ask somebody how to get to the place I needed... so all my hope is that kind people here would help me.
I need to go to "BaГeЧehir kadar" from Mecediyeköy (I guessed its near Cevahir).
Çok teşekkürler!

Buy an ´akbil´ (you see akbil bayii almost next to every - major - stop), upload it with money and it works like a prepaid card. Every time you use bus, metro or tram you ´click´ the akbil onto a machine, quite clear.
And I guess at major metro stations or the like they have maps of public transport.
Here you can read about public transport and see what an akbil looks like.

I did it! I bought the akbil 6tl and went by metrobus and then took a minibus, it all worked out well! people are very friendly and it´s best to ask either workers of ieet or akbil sellers.
Even though I did come to the address i wanted, it took me 2, 5 hours! I can´t imagine commuting that everyday, but it was a useful experience. Again, thanks evb for help!
