Şair Cahit Sıtkı Tarancı’dan
bir şiir demeti:
HATIRALAR
Memories
Bilmem ki hâtıralar,
Ne istersiniz benden,
Gelir gelmez sonbahar?
I don´t know memories
what you want from me
as soon as autumn comes?
Bu kanad çırpış neden?
Cama vuracak ne var
Ey eski hâtıralar
Why is this wing beat?
What reason to hit the fenster
O old memories?
Sanmayın güller açar,
Bülbül değildir öten;
Bu rüzgâr başka rüzgâr.
Don´t think roses open,
It is not nightingale singing;
This wind is a different wind
Ne istersiniz benden,
Bilmem ki hâtıralar,
Gelir gelmez sonbahar?
What do u want from me,
I don´t know
As soon as autumn comes?
DESEM Kİ
If I say that
Desem ki vakitlerden bir Nisan akşamıdır,
Rüzgârların en ferahlatıcısı senden esiyor,
Sende seyrediyorum denizlerin en mavisini,
Ormanların en kuytusunu sende gezmekteyim,
Senden kopardım çiçeklerin en solmazını,
Toprakların en bereketlisini sende sürdüm,
Sende tattım yemişlerin cümlesini.
If I say that time is a night of April
The most refreshing wind is blowing from you
I am watching the bluest of seas at you
I am wandering most sheltered of forests at you
I picked up the most unwilting of flowers from you
I plowed the most abundant of soils at you
I tasted all of fruits at you
Desem ki sen benim için,
Hava kadar lazım,
Ekmek kadar mübarek,
Su gibi aziz bir şeysin;
Nimettensin, nimettensin!
If I say that you are
Neccessary for me as much as air
Blessed as much as bread
and a dear thing like water.
You are of blessing, blessing
Desem ki...
İnan bana sevgilim inan,
Evimde şenliksin, bahçemde bahar;
Ve soframda en eski şarap.
Ben sende yaşıyorum,
Sen bende hüküm sürmektesin.
If I say that...
Believe me my love,believe,
You are a festival in my home, you are a spring in my garden
And an old wine on my dinner table
I live in you
You are ruling in me.
Bırak ben söyleyeyim güzelliğini,
Rüzgârlarla, nehirlerle, kuşlarla beraber.
Günlerden sonra bir gün,
Şayet sesimi farkedemezsen,
Rüzgârların, nehirlerin, kuşların sesinden,
Bil ki ölmüşüm.
Let me to say your beauty
With winds, with rivers, with birds
One day after days
If you can´t notice my voice
From the voices of winds, rivers, birds
Know that I have died.
Fakat yine üzülme, müsterih ol;
Kabirde böceklere ezberletirim güzelliğini,
Ve neden sonra
Tekrar duyduğun gün sesimi gökkubbede,
Hatırla ki mahşer günüdür
Ortalığa düşmüşüm seni arıyorum.
But don´t be upset, be at ease;
In grave I have bugs memorize your beauty
After a while
One day when you heard my voice at the vault of heaven
Remember it is judgment day
I have been looking for you around
NOT: P.S.= "DESEM Kİ", HER TOPLANTIDA, HER ŞİİR GÜNÜNDE, OKUNABİLECEK, HER SEVGİLİYE SÖYLENECEK HARİKA BİR ŞİİR.BENDEN TAVSİYE...
Note: P:S = "If I say that" is a great poem can be read in every meeting, in every poem day and can be said to every lover. An advice from me...
GÜN EKSİLMESİN PENCEREMDEN
Let the day not fall away from my fenster
Ne doğan güne hükmüm geçer,
Ne halden anlayan bulunur;
Ah aklımdan ölümüm geçer;
Sonra bu kuş, bu bahçe, bu nur.
Ve gönül Tanrısına der ki:
- Pervam yok verdiğin elemden;
Her mihnet kabulüm, yeter ki
Gün eksilmesin penceremden!
Neither I have authority over the rising day
Nor one who sympathizes can be found
Ah my death crosses my mind
Then this bird, this garden, this heavenly light
And heart says that to its God:
I have no concern of suffering you give
I willingly give my consent to every trouble, as long as
Let the day not fall away from my fenster.
(Great poem)
OTUZBEŞ YAŞ ŞİİRİ
The poem of age of 35
Yaş otuz beş! yolun yarısı eder.
Dante gibi ortasındayız ömrün.
Delikanlı çağımızdaki cevher,
Yalvarmak, yakarmak nafile bugün,
Gözünün yaşına bakmadan gider.
Age is 35. It does the half of way.
We are in the middle of life like Dante.
The ore in our youth age
(It is in vain to beg, to invoke today)
Goes away without looking at tears of your eyes
Şakaklarıma kar mı yağdı ne var?
Benim mi Allahım bu çizgili yüz?
Ya gözler altındaki mor halkalar?
Neden böyle düşman görünürsünüz,
Yıllar yılı dost bildiğim aynalar?
Did it snow to my temples, what is that?
Is this face with lines mine my God?
What if purple circles under my eyes?
Why do you seem such enemy
The mirrors that I have known as friends all these years.
Zamanla nasıl değişiyor insan!
Hangi resmime baksam ben değilim.
Nerde o günler, o şevk, o heyecan?
Bu güler yüzlü adam ben değilim;
Yalandır kaygısız olduğum yalan.
How a person changes with the time!
If i look at any picture, it is not me.
Where are those days, that enthusiasm, that excitement
This cheerful man isn´t me
It is a lie that I am carefree, it is a lie.
Hayal meyal şeylerden ilk aşkımız;
Hatırası bile yabancı gelir.
Hayata beraber başladığımız,
Dostlarla da yollar ayrıldı bir bir;
Gittikçe artıyor yalnızlığımız.
Our first love is of vaguely things;
Its memory seems even unfamilliar
With the friends we had started to life together
Our ways parted one by one.
Our loneliness increases with the time.
Gökyüzünün başka rengi de varmış!
Geç farkettim taşın sert olduğunu.
Su insanı boğar, ateş yakarmış!
Her doğan günün bir dert olduğunu,
İnsan bu yaşa gelince anlarmış.
There has been another colour of sky!
I noticed late that stone was hard
Water has chocked men, fire has burnt
Men has understood at this age
Every day rises is another trouble.
Ayva sarı nar kırmızı sonbahar!
Her yıl biraz daha benimsediğim.
Ne dönüp duruyor havada kuşlar?
Nerden çıktı bu cenaze? ölen kim?
Bu kaçıncı bahçe gördüm tarumar?
An autumn which is yellow quince, red pomegranate!
I appropriate it more every year.
Why are birds wheeling around in the sky?
Where has this funeral appeared? Who is the dead?
What is the number of this garden I have seen scattered
Neylersin ölüm herkesin başında.
Uyudun uyanamadın olacak.
Kimbilir nerde, nasıl, kaç yaşında?
Bir namazlık saltanatın olacak,
Taht misali o musalla taşında.
What can you do? Death is near everybody.
It will become "you had slept but you couldn´t wake up"
Who knows where, at which age?
You will have a sultanate only for a one prayer time.
Like a throne on that stone where your corpse will lie
GARİP KİŞİ
Stranger Person
Bir akşam ilk olarak ağladım,
Bekar odamın penceresinde.
Hani ev bark? Hani çoluk çocuk?
Ne geçti elime bu hayatın
Meyhanesinde, kerhanesinde?
Yatağım her gece böyle soğuk.
Saadet bu ömrün neresinde?
One evening I cried for the first time
By the fenster of my single room
Where is home, dwelling? Where are children, kids?
What I earned in this life´s
Taverns, brothels?
My bed is always such cold every night
Where is the happiness in this life?
Please somebody correct me.
