Gokuyum - who do you think you are talking to me like this?  Improve myself????   Most people seem to find me quite alright as I am thank you very much, apart from you and your little ´gang´.

I didn´t open this topic for you to resume your fight; I´m just trying to understand the real reason of locking up the comments of a column !

I think it was probably locked because the latest comments - the ones gokuyum saved for some reason - really had nothing to do with the column in question - just turned into a general slanging match. .  And, in case you didn´t realise, the right to disable comments has always been there for every column.

I´m off to improve myself!

Right to disable comments for a column? Whose is this right and who recognizes it?

Right of the columnist. You are free to write your own columns as well and then disable comments if you wish.

And it appears that it was done after spritzer returned as Paramedic and began to attack and swear again at everyone who disagrees with her.

Same thing with disabling comments; when comments disagree with you!
