Quoting tunci

Thorns and roses grow on the same tree.

Bir ağaçta gül de biter diken de.

I heard another proverb along these lines;

"He who loves the rose must endure its thorns"

I´m not sure that I have remembered the translation correctly so please correct;

"Gulu seven dikenine katlanir."

Quoting Nitas

These are a few really good turkish proverbs i found in english.
could someone translate it into turkish please?
thank you
post more if you know

He that conceals his grief finds no remedy for it

Patience is the key to paradise

Thorns and roses grow on the same tree.

A knife wound heals; a wound caused by words does not

Patience is bitter, but it bears sweet fruit.

Another one I like is

"There are no pockets in a shroud" meaning "you can´t take it with you" (money)

I think the translation is "kefenin cebi yok"

Another one has come back to me ;

"Free vinegar is sweeter than honey "

"Badava sirke baldan tatlidir" N.B. (sorry can´t get dots to work)
