The moment a country I live in would be ruled by sharia law, I would move away that second. I don´t think it´s a good idea to make the testamony of a woman less valuable than a man´s, make it legal for men to have several wives (but not the other way around), and more details like that. In broad lines modern laws are highly influences by religion anyway (Islam or Christian), and I think the laws are good just the way they are. It is the following of the laws that is the problem.

One question
What happens when all acts classified as "sin" according to religions, also become punishable under civil laws ?

Merhaba,
As far as I know that the population in Turkiye aroun 90% or even more are muslim, but I have let´s call it a puzzling question. Why do all or most of them have dogs around them kissing hugging and so on, is it forbidden in Islam or what?
Mostly all Turkish celebrities are having dogs and so on....
I hope to find an answer in your revered forum.
Why do you have all, or most of the boys walking hand in hand in streets of Saudi Arabia, gulbahar? Are they all queers?
They would not do it out of Saudi Arabia, funny isn´t it?

Here is a document I found which explains a bit of the dog population in Turkey, especially in Istanbul which has an estimated 150 000 free roaming dogs, free roaming dogs meaning not owned by anyone.

For the country with the most dogs per capita, it is the United States that is at the top of the list with 61,080,000 dogs, this does not include the free roaming dogs.
