J2ME is the mobile edition (ME) of the Java programming language platform. It is J2ME that mobile phones geneally use. A client (program to connect to MSN services) has been written for this platform so it should be possible to run this on any Java enabled mobile phone.
The biggest problem is usually getting such a program onto the phone. Mostly you need the development kit foor that phone provided by its manafacturer but these are huge and not very user friendly for end users as they are intended for software developers.
