I have been talking to Turks for a few months after I came from Turkey, and I´d like to understand all the slangs they use. Maybe a native Turk could write here some slangs and translations to them? And I also would like to get a translation to the saying "eyw". Teşekkürler

It is not easy to master Turkish slang. It is so vast even I can easily lose myself in it

What is Turkish slang actually based on? Street talk of Istanbul?

The "slang dictionary" I mentioned seems to be written by teenagers. Even many standard language words are considered slang if they have to do with certain body parts. The author does not know what slang is  -  but there are some pearls there.

Every region has its slang exspressions. But many people from different regions of Turkey live in İstanbul. So Istanbul street talk can be very enlightining.

I guess "eyw" is eyvallah. It means good-bye.

By the way I hate those people who uses x,w,q when they write in Turkish.
