Erdogan says "Protesters in Europe would have been dealth with more harshly"

Is this man joking?

People have died in Turkey, innocent people injured some blinded by the brutal Turkish police force. This would never happen in my Country.

I hold dual nationality- Turkish and British - I love both countries but one has democracy the other does not.

I think it is abit naive to think that "police brutality is a normal thing and it happens everywhere".

NO. It does not.

The response from police to the protesters kind of reflects the level of democracy in that country.

Turkish police is changing..They were more brutal years ago. But still long way to catch up.

And trying to cover the police brutality and trying to make it look as ´normal´,  because  ´some people´s nationalistic feeling hurt´ does not help in this case.. In the end, if there is not enough objection to the police brutality, the police will do the same again next time round.

exactly. police brutality does not happen everywhere, just becuz it happens in SOME countries doesnt mean it happens in all. and especially not in a modern country like mine. its so far away from happening that i cant even imagine it. and thank god for that.

"husby" is a place where there almost only are immigrants and criminals,

You are seperating the people, according to you Police can do everything to immigrants and criminals , where is your human rights ?

and the shooting of that 69 year old man was a mistake, police cant make mistakes ?

Do you realy beleive in this ? People can not kill by mistake if the otherside has a gun.... If it happens, its huge mistake.

Our police has a gun also and they didnt shoot anyone "by accident" in taksim.

do u even know the whole story behind it ?

I dont care about the reason, im interested in with result.
