Quoting azade:

Does anybody know the name of the actress who plays the mother? She's on Avrupa Yakası as well, and I was wondering what else she's been doing.

Hümeyra. She was a singer when she was young.

Haven't you ever listened to "Sessiz Gemi" (Yahya Kemal's beautiful poem) sung by her? You should, if you haven't.
